Commercial Lines Account Manager Compensation & Benefits $75,000-$90,000 base salary, depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and 401(k) Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities Manage and service an established book of Commercial Lines business Prepare and quote commercial insurance policies Handle policy renewals, endorsements, coverage changes, certificates, and other day-to-day servicing needs Review client policies and identify potential coverage gaps or opportunities for improved protection Cross-sell and upsell additional coverage options to new and existing clients Respond to client questions, service requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally Maintain regular communication with clients regarding renewals, policy updates, regulatory changes, and emerging risks Schedule follow-up conversations and policy reviews to support strong client relationships and retention Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation Work closely with producers, carrier partners, and internal team members to meet deadlines and deliver a high level of service Support compliance requirements and participate in broader agency initiatives as needed Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements 3+ years of Commercial Lines account management experience preferred Active Illinois Property & Casualty license Experience working within an independent insurance agency strongly preferred Applied EPIC experience required Experience handling renewals, policy servicing, quoting, and ongoing client relationship management Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lines professional who wants to join an independent agency that values long-term relationships, stability, personalized client service, and maintaining a family-oriented workplace.
