We pride ourselves on executing clean logistics, quality construction, and strict safety compliance. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Fleet Operations & Asset Refurbishment Manager to run our inventory lifecycle, preventative maintenance schedules, and asset refurbishment programs at our Groveland yard. In this role, you will lead the operations required to ensure every modular building leaving our facility or field site is structurally optimized, safely transported, and fully compliant with state regulations and is in like new condition. If you have a strong field background in commercial modular spaces or mobile fleet facilities combined with strong Florida and IBC building code knowledge, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Yard & Fleet Management:
Oversee daily yard operations, physical asset logistics, and the physical lifecycle of our commercial modular fleet.
Refurbishment Leadership:
Direct field crews and local subcontractors performing complex repairs, structural updates, and MEP upgrades on returned mobile assets.
Logistics Coordination:
Supervise complex haul-and-set logistics, site positioning, and reverse-logistics schedules across Florida.
Regulatory Compliance:
Work directly alongside Third-Party Inspection Agencies (TPAs) to secure required DBPR validations and structural insignias.
Quality Control:
Enforce safety and build standards that directly satisfy structural, energy, and accessibility mandates under the Florida Building Code (FBC).
Qualifications & Experience Experience:
5+ years managing yard operations, construction logistics, or facilities maintenance within modular construction, mobile offices, or heavy commercial construction.
FBC Knowledge:
High proficiency navigating the Florida Building Code (FBC) , specifically rules relating to high-velocity wind loads, tie-down systems, and modular structures.
Agency Familiarity:
Direct experience working within the compliance frameworks of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) .
Leadership:
Proven ability to manage mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) trades, local sub-contractors, and logistics transport providers.
Education:
Degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or an equivalent mix of hands-on field leadership experience. What We Offer Competitive Base Salary aligned with experience.
