Position Overview and Key Responsibilities:
Lead our investment committee and be accountable for our investment performance vs. benchmark metrics. Perform research and analysis to manage investment options. Provide information and make recommendations to committee on managers, advisory service products, investment selection, suitability guidelines, and reporting decisions. Conduct detailed research and analysis of investment opportunities. Recommend fund portfolio options based on client needs and industry trends. Monitor funding of advisory accounts and communicate with clients regarding advisory-related services and products. Process investment accounts, trades, and private investment paperwork. Mutual Fund Wholesaler Point of Contact. Coordinating investment committee meetings. Provide market commentary and economic outlook (much of can be sourced from N.M. material). Monitoring capital gains distributions Ongoing monitoring of securities. Model management & updating positions. ALTS expert and potentially ALTS paperwork. Attend some client meetings as an investment expert. Including those with joint work partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Microsoft applications and web-based data management. Minimum of 3 years of broker-dealer knowledge and understanding. Must have Series 7, 66, SIE. Must get Life and Health licenses before starting.
Experience:
3-5+ years of financial planning experience in the securities industry. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability. Customer service experience, including excellent oral and written communication skills.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
