We're building out our servicing team to support an expanding book of business, and this role is foundational to that growth. About the Role East Harbor Financial is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial commission-only Originator to expand our asset-backed lending pipeline. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional who understands relationship-driven sales, capital markets, and secured lending. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, contact, and secure companies actively seeking capital and introduce them to East Harbor's flexible financing solutions across trucks, equipment, machinery, real estate, and vessels. The ideal candidate will be a confident closer with strong communication skills, a polished professional presence, and the discipline to work independently in a performance-based environment. This position is best suited for someone who thrives on building a pipeline, creating opportunities, and earning based directly on results. What You'll Do Research and identify businesses seeking asset-backed capital across trucking, equipment, construction, real estate, and marine sectors. Make direct outreach to founders, CEOs, CFOs, capital raisers, and broker networks. Present the value of East Harbor Financial's secured lending solutions to qualified prospects. Schedule qualified prospect calls, credit discussions, and introductions to the underwriting team. Build and maintain an active pipeline of borrowers and referral partners. Represent East Harbor Financial professionally and persuasively at meetings, calls, and industry events. Partner with underwriting and servicing teams to move qualified deals from introduction to close. Strong ability to prospect, follow up, and close opportunities. Comfortable working on commission only. Highly organized, self-motivated, and persuasive. Confident closer with polished professional presence and strong written and verbal communication. Discipline to work independently in a performance-based environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive financial information. Nice to Have Existing relationships in commercial lending, private credit, equipment finance, real estate, trucking, or marine industries. Experience with secure, asset-backed, or specialty finance products. Established referral network of brokers, advisors, or capital markets contacts.
