We are seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, client-focused, and experienced in managing mortgage loans from the initial client consultation through closing. The Senior Mortgage Loan Officer should have strong sales and communication skills, be comfortable following up with prospective clients, and have experience coordinating with borrowers, processors, lenders, underwriters, escrow companies, and title teams. The ideal candidate should also be confident managing multiple loan files, pricing loans across different wholesale lenders, reviewing borrower documentation, and helping ensure each loan moves efficiently and accurately through the process. Responsibilities Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and mortgage needs Review and compare loan programs from multiple wholesale lenders to identify appropriate options Independently price and submit their own loan files Originate and submit mortgage loan applications Review borrower documentation for completeness and accuracy Gather and organize income, asset, credit, employment, and property documentation Prepare complete loan files for lender and underwriting submission Monitor outstanding loan conditions and follow up on missing or updated documentation Communicate with clients and consistently follow up with prospective borrowers Coordinate with borrowers, processors, lenders, underwriters, escrow companies, and title teams Track each loan from application through closing Maintain accurate loan records and update file statuses as necessary Provide professional and responsive service throughout the mortgage process Help ensure loan files are handled efficiently and meet company and lender requirements Requirements Active DRE and/or NMLS license Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer Non-QM mortgage experience required Experience pricing loans with multiple wholesale lenders Strong knowledge of the mortgage process from application through closing Experience reviewing borrower documentation, disclosures, lender conditions, and requirements Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines at the same time Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable contacting clients and following up with prospective borrowers Experience working with borrowers, processors, lenders, underwriters, escrow, and title teams Ability to work independently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Strong commitment to providing excellent client service Preferred Qualifications Experience working with mortgage loan origination systems Familiarity with conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM, and brokered loan programs Previous experience working with a mortgage brokerage or lending team About the Role This position is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Officer who understands both mortgage origination and loan processing.
