You will open, fund, balance and close escrow files as well as coordinate with sellers, buyers, lenders, and realtors throughout the closing process. Your specific duties will include preparing documents, clearing titles, ordering beneficiary statements, and disbursing funds for property expenses. You must also determine what legal deeds are needed to complete a transaction and ensure that all parties have properly signed and filed the necessary closing documents. You must have two or more years of closing experience, either as an escrow assistant or junior escrow officer. SMS experience Notary (Optional)
