Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Loan Officer role based in Canyon Lake, CA. Loan Officers will work directly with clients to assess their home financing needs, explain loan products, and guide them through the mortgage application and approval process. Daily responsibilities include originating and structuring residential mortgage loans, collecting and reviewing documentation, and coordinating with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure timely and accurate loan decisions. The role involves providing high-quality customer service, maintaining regular communication with clients, real estate partners, and internal stakeholders, and adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards. Loan Officers are expected to meet production goals, contribute to community outreach and education efforts, and uphold RWM Home Loans' commitment to ethical lending and client-focused solutions. Qualifications Demonstrated experience as a Loan Officer, with a strong understanding of residential mortgage products and lending practices. Solid foundation in Finance, including income analysis, credit evaluation, and debt-to-income calculations. Knowledge of Underwriting principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with underwriting teams. Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and manage client expectations. Proven Loan Origination experience, including lead generation, application intake, and pipeline management. Relevant state licensing and active NMLS registration (or eligibility to obtain), in alignment with regulatory requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with mortgage origination software and basic office applications. Ability to work on-site in Menifee, CA, maintain confidentiality, and operate with integrity in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Prior experience in community banking, mortgage brokerage, or related financial services is preferred.
