Snyder, Northumberland, Union, Lycoming, and Montour Counties A well-established community bank located in Snyder County is seeking an experienced, relationship-focused Universal Loan Officer to join our lending team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build lasting customer relationships while serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout Central Pennsylvania. The Universal Loan Officer will be responsible for developing new lending relationships, managing an existing portfolio, and providing exceptional financial solutions to customers across a five-county service area. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong communication skills, sound credit knowledge, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Primary Responsibilities Develop and maintain consumer, residential, and small business relationships. Originate, analyze, underwrite, and close loan requests in accordance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines. Manage an assigned loan portfolio while identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships. Generate new business through community involvement, networking, and referrals. Evaluate the credit worthiness of borrowers. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all applicable banking regulations. Partner with retail and operations staff to deliver a seamless customer experience. Represent the bank professionally throughout Snyder, Northumberland, Union, Lycoming, and Montour Counties. Qualifications Previous lending experience in consumer, residential mortgage, or commercial lending is preferred. Strong knowledge of credit worthiness, underwriting principles, and loan documentation. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to develop new business while maintaining high-quality customer service. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
