The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by managing the escrow process from start to finish. This position requires a strong understanding of financial services, loan origination, and relevant regulations to ensure smooth and compliant transactions. Duties Manage all aspects of the escrow process, including opening, processing, and closing transactions. Review and prepare escrow documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders to facilitate communication throughout the transaction. Conduct thorough reviews of contracts and loan documents to ensure all terms are met. Sending completed loan documents to mortgage companies. Performing title searches. Obtaining signatures on important documents. Ensuring escrow funds have been deposited. Preparing escrow instructions. Procuring assumption and payoff statements. Verifying all purchase requirements have been met. Maintain detailed records of all transactions and provide updates to clients as needed. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws. Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the escrow process. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Skills Strong knowledge of financial services, including loan origination and processing. Familiarity with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations and underwriting processes. Proficient understanding of escrow procedures and contract management. Basic math skills to oversee closing costs or related transaction. Excellent organizational skills with a good attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work independently while managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 3+ years' experience required in escrow or title administration.
Preferred:
Certified Escrow Office designation, or equivalent certification
