Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Closer/Settlement Agent to join our dynamic title team. In this vital role, you will oversee the final stages of property transactions, ensuring all legal, financial, and procedural requirements are meticulously completed to facilitate smooth closings. Your expertise will help clients achieve their homeownership goals while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of title transactions, providing exceptional service and support throughout the closing process. Health insurance benefits are not offered. Paid vacation, personal days, and retirement plan available after one full year of employment Duties Coordinate and manage all aspects of real estate closings, including reviewing and preparing legal descriptions, title documents, and settlement statements. Review title records, public records, and legal descriptions to verify property ownership and identify any encumbrances such as easements or rights-of-way. Perform title review in accordance with underwriting guidelines, ensuring adherence to legal standards and company policies. Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and lenders to provide updates, clarify documentation requirements, and ensure a seamless closing experience. Prepare and review all necessary documentation for real estate closings including deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, and escrow instructions. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document preparation and communication. Effective client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach to assist clients through the closing process. Working within a fast-paced environment that values accuracy, compliance, and teamwork.
Pay:
$48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
