Requirements Generate accurate loan documents for various types of loans in a timely manner. Assist lenders with preparing for loan closings which may include ordering and obtaining required file documentation. Booking, funding and review of closed loans to ensure that they are set up and maintained accurately on the data system. Assist with post-closing duties including recording documents, scanning file documents, ordering file title work and/or filing security instruments. Process release requests for loan payoffs which may include preparation of release documents for security instruments Provide exception customer service while assisting customers with loan payment processing and/or loan related questions Maintain weekly and/or monthly loan related reports Review loan files for completeness, accuracy and compliance standards. Work as a team with other loan support staff and assist others as needed. Assist with managing escrow accounts for taxes and insurance as well as processing disbursements. Help loan staff and loan customers with questions regarding processing, underwriting, closing and payments. Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity. Thorough understanding of customer service. Experience in solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Strong knowledge of PC skills including Microsoft products.
Physical Requirements:
Exposed to prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regularly required to stand, bend, stoop, walk. Required to have clarity of vision including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to repetitive use of hands such as typing, writing and maintaining files. Required to frequently lift 10 pounds and occasional life or move up to 25 pounds. Required to have the ability to drive to other FreedomBank locations as needed.
