None Job Summary The Commercial Loan Associate provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and customer support for the Commercial Lending Department. This position coordinates new commercial loan requests, prepares and reviews loan documentation, maintains loan files, supports loan closings, and ensures collateral and credit documentation are complete and compliant with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The Commercial Loan Associate serves as a key liaison between customers, lenders, title companies, attorneys, vendors, and Loan Operations while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the integrity of the bank's commercial loan portfolio. Key Responsibilities Loan Documentation & Closing Administration
Manage intake of new commercial loan requests and coordinate required documentation.
Request and collect borrower financial information and supporting credit documentation.
Prepare commercial loan documents, renewals, modifications, and extensions.
Coordinate commercial real estate loan closings with title companies, attorneys, and borrowers.
Prepare participation agreements and assist with participation loan closings.
Review closing documentation for completeness and accuracy. Collateral & Due Diligence
Order appraisals, title work, flood determinations, and UCC searches.
Review title commitments and address documentation issues.
Execute UCC filings and maintain collateral perfection.
Maintain tickler systems for outstanding documentation.
Build new loans and customer information within the core system.
Perform loan maintenance and servicing activities.
Scan, index, and verify loan documentation.
Process loan payments, advances, and paid loan documentation.
Maintain complete and accurate loan files. Customer Service & Lending Support
Provide administrative support to Commercial Loan Officers.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
Communicate with customers, title companies, attorneys, and vendors.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the lending process. Compliance, Risk & Reporting
Ensure compliance with bank policies and lending regulations.
Balance assigned transactions and general ledger accounts.
Determine daily NSF/overdraft activity as assigned.
Support audits, examinations, and internal reviews.
Prepare reports and assist with departmental projects. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of commercial lending documentation and loan operations.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Possess appropriate interaction and cooperation with bank employees and customers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking software. Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous banking, lending support, or loan documentation experience preferred.
Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
