Job Description

A respected community bank in the Lansing, Michigan area is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join its team. This is an urgent hiring need , and the ideal candidate will be a "plug-and-play" commercial loan processor who can step in and contribute immediately. The bank is looking for someone with strong commercial loan processing experience who can hit the ground running. If you're an organized banking professional who thrives in a fast-paced commercial lending environment, this could be an outstanding opportunity.

Commercial Loan Operations Requirements:

2+ years of commercial loan processing or commercial loan operations experience within a bank or financial institution. Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation and loan closing processes. Ability to work independently with minimal training in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Experience with commercial lending systems and documentation is preferred.

Commercial Loan Operations Responsibilities:

Gather and prepare documentation for commercial loan closings. Review commercial loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Coordinate loan documentation with lenders, attorneys, title companies, and internal departments. Process new commercial loans, renewals, modifications, and loan maintenance. Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting the commercial lending team.
