Housed in a beautifully restored Uptown mansion, our boutique hotel is known for creating memorable guest experiences through genuine service, thoughtful details, and a warm sense of welcome. The Chloe is seeking a dependable, attentive, and welcoming Night Auditor to join our hotel team. This part-time overnight position is responsible for caring for our guests and property during the overnight hours, assisting with late-night arrivals and guest requests, completing overnight front desk and audit responsibilities, and preparing the hotel for a smooth start to the following morning. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys a quieter overnight environment, takes pride in hospitality, and is comfortable working independently while maintaining a warm and attentive presence for our guests. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and the property during overnight hours. Monitor the property throughout the night and maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for overnight guests. Complete late-night check-ins and early-morning check-outs with a warm, professional approach. Respond to overnight guest requests, questions, and needs promptly and thoughtfully. Monitor and maintain awareness of activity throughout the property and escalate any concerns appropriately. Prepare the hotel for the following morning, including: (1) Grinding coffee and preparing coffee service, (2) Setting up the breakfast station, (3) Collecting and ringing in breakfast orders, (4) Ensuring guest areas are clean, organized, and ready for the morning team and guests. Complete light laundry duties, primarily washing and folding pool towels as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and guest-facing areas throughout the overnight shift. Communicate important overnight updates, guest needs, maintenance concerns, or incidents to the appropriate team members. Complete shift handoff notes to ensure the morning team is informed and prepared for the day ahead. Follow all hotel procedures related to guest service, safety, security, and emergency situations. Perform other reasonable overnight hotel duties as needed. What We're Looking For Previous hotel, hospitality, front desk, or customer service experience preferred. Comfortable working independently during overnight hours. Dependable and punctual, with strong attention to detail. Warm, personable, and professional with guests. Comfortable handling unexpected situations calmly and using good judgment. Basic computer skills. Ability to perform light physical tasks, including standing, walking the property, and handling laundry. Previous experience with a hotel PMS or night audit is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Schedule Two overnight shifts per week (Friday + Saturday Night) 11:00 PM-7:00 AM Part-time Availability for occasional additional shifts is a plus, but not required. The Ideal Candidate The ideal Night Auditor is someone who can be trusted to take ownership of the hotel during the overnight hours. You should be comfortable working independently, attentive to the details that keep a small hotel running smoothly, and genuinely enjoy creating a thoughtful experience for guests—even at 2:00 AM.
