Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic position combines guest relations, administrative duties, and security responsibilities to deliver exceptional service and maintain the highest standards of hospitality management. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact during nighttime hours, providing friendly guest assistance, managing reservations, and overseeing property safety protocols to create a welcoming environment for all visitors. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service during late-night hours, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct nightly audits using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to reconcile accounts, verify reservations, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest requests with professionalism and efficiency. Maintain detailed records of daily transactions, incident reports, and shift logs to ensure seamless communication between day and night teams. Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance, perform safety checks, and follow hotel emergency procedures to safeguard guests and staff. Assist with reservation management using hospitality reservation systems; update guest profiles and accommodate special requests when possible. Communicate effectively via phone etiquette to coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments for smooth hotel operations. Support guest relations by addressing concerns proactively, offering local recommendations, and ensuring a memorable stay for diverse clientele including multilingual or bilingual guests. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms used in hotel management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond confidently during incidents or crises. Experience working with multilingual or bilingual guests is advantageous for enhancing guest communication. Previous night audit experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. A background in hospitality reservation systems and guest services ensures readiness to handle diverse guest needs effectively.
