Job Description

Position Summary:
The Night Auditor at Camp Lucy is a personable and friendly team member with a guest-first mentality and a fantastic work ethic. Nestled on a beautiful Hill Country Ranch overlooking Onion Creek in Dripping Springs, Camp Lucy is home to premier wedding and special event venues as well as luxury accommodations. This role is essential in ensuring that night operations run smoothly while providing exceptional service to guests.
Primary Job Duties:
1.
Work Overnight:
Must be available to work overnight shifts to ensure proper management of night operations. 2.
Certification:
Must have TABC and Food Handlers certifications or be willing to obtain them. 3.
Guest Check-in:
Efficiently check in guests in a friendly manner, using guest names whenever possible. Ensure guests are assigned the type of room requested and that the correct rate is charged. 4.
Guest Check-out:
Handle guest check-outs at the end of their stay, ascertaining satisfaction, collecting keys, posting late charges, and presenting a final bill. Settle bills accurately through credit card or cash transactions. 5.
Customer Relations:
Resolve customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. Accommodate special requests whenever possible and assist customers with inquiries related to resort services, hours of operation, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner, both in person and by phone. 6.
Maintain Balanced Bank:
Maintain a balanced cash bank assigned by the hotel. Make change, cash checks, manage the cash drop procedure, and address any billing matters. Reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift. 7.
Utilize Computer Systems:
Use a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests. 8.
Reservations Management:
Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations efficiently. Answer all guest calls and questions via email or phone promptly Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and resolve issues effectively. Familiarity with hotel management software and computer systems is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during overnight shifts. A positive attitude and a willingness to assist guests and team members. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality at Camp Lucy during overnight hours, ensuring that guests have a positive experience throughout their stay.
