Role:

Sample Express Inc is looking for a detail-oriented and versatile HR/Payroll & Procurement Specialist to join our team remotely from Parkville, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to wear multiple hats in a dynamic environment where your organizational skills and people-first mindset will make a real impact. Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement for all employees Administer HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrollment, and employee records management Oversee procurement activities including vendor sourcing, purchase orders, and contract management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and payroll regulations Coordinate with department heads to forecast procurement needs and manage supplier relationships Maintain HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality Support employee relations initiatives and assist with performance management processes

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in HR, payroll processing, and/or procurement roles Proficiency with HRIS and payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar) Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and labor laws Experience with purchase order management and vendor negotiation Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, people-first demeanor
