Job Description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Administrative Assistant to support payroll operations for our corporate office and construction projects. This role will work in collaboration with the operations team to ensure compliance within the payroll department. The ideal candidate has experience in construction payroll, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Ensure accuracy and payroll compliance. Assist with preparing and maintaining Certified Payroll Reports (CPR) and OCIP in accordance with federal and state regulations. Assist in processing MEU and EBO reports as needed Maintain accurate employee profiles within ERP system and records database at all times. Manage union pay scale and benefit rates within applicable systems. Help manage payroll operations with in-house ERP system and third‑party applications Data entry, management & document review Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate integration of payroll and employee data. Assist with payroll system implementations, updates, and process improvements. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations through accurate documentation and timely reporting. Respond to payroll inquiries, investigate issues, and support resolution of discrepancies. Qualifications Minimum 2-4 years of administrative or payroll support experience; construction industry experience strongly preferred. Foundational knowledge of CPR and OCIP reporting requirements (or willingness to learn). Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, or comparable platforms. Experience supporting system implementation or process improvements is a plus. Understanding of basic HR processes and how they integrate with payroll. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Skills

•Experience with union payroll processing and union audit highly preferred. Knowledge of multi‑state payroll regulations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v‑lookups, templates, reporting).

$27.46 - $30.00 per hour
