Job Description Process payroll for approximately 250 employees Complete payroll and reporting for ACA, W-2s, 401(k), short term disability, OSHA 300, etc. Submit proposals and receive funds from Federal and State of Illinois grants Prepare and maintain relevant spreadsheets for bonuses, PTO, voluntary layoffs, DP, ACA, Section 263A, UNICAP, etc. Prepare and participate in Property and Casualty insurance audits Prepare reporting and job descriptions in accordance with IL Equal Pay Act and other applicable pay transparency laws Image backup/detail Perform various clerical and accounting duties Provide assistance and support to company personnel Qualifications Proven work experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, and the ability to train others in related practices and procedures Knowledge of payroll processes including wage and tax calculations Familiarity with accounting principles and practices Strong analytical skills to analyze data and identify discrepancies Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, especially Excel Strong ability to multitask Benefits Excellent Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance with Family Coverage and Minimal Employee Contribution Disability Benefits 401(k): 5% Employer Contribution Plus 1% Match Paid Holidays and Time Off Flexible Spending Account Discretionary Bonuses Pay Rate Starting from $30-$40/hour Plus Discretionary Profit Sharing Bonus Salary Negotiable Based on
