About the Role The Payroll Administrator is responsible for supporting all aspects of payroll processing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll execution, maintains employee records, prepares required reports, and assists employees with payroll-related questions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with sensitive information while meeting strict deadlines. This position reports directly to the Payroll Manager. Responsibilities Update and reconcile payroll balance sheets on a weekly basis Enter and maintain employee information, including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, tax updates, and address changes Review weekly hours submitted from field locations to ensure compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) regulations and company policies Process payroll-related adjustments, including deductions, garnishments, and final paychecks Prepare payroll reports to meet company and regulatory requirements Verify and certify payroll billing information as required Maintain and update payroll tracking spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel Handle payroll inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner Work within strict deadlines to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive employee information Follow all company policies and safety practices Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned Promote and demonstrate company culture and values Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of payroll or timekeeping experience preferred Strong math, data entry, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with ADP, E-Time, or Aspire is preferred Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced office environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to always maintain confidentiality Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods of time Frequent keyboarding and repetitive hand movements Occasional lifting of 5-30 lbs.
