Numbers:

Collect hours, miles, and piecework data to calculate gross wages and deductions.

Manage Deductions:

Handle the "extras" like insurance, taxes, garnishments, and loan payments so the net pay is 100% correct.

Update Records:

Track employee transfers, leave pay, and exemptions in our master system.

Fix Glitches:

Spot errors before the checks go out and resolve any pay discrepancies quickly.

Reporting:

Pull together the weekly, monthly, and annual reports that keep our books balanced.

What We're Looking For Experience:

2+ years of hands-on payroll, accounting, or clerical experience.

Math Skills:

You're comfortable with more than just basic addition—you can handle rates, ratios, and percentages with ease.

Software:

You know your way around software such as Excel along with Outlook and Word.

Communication:

You can explain a pay stub to an employee clearly and professionally.

The Mindset:

You're someone who double-checks everything and doesn't miss the small details.
