Description We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support a contract assignment. This role is ideal for someone who can manage end-to-end payroll operations with accuracy and consistency across multiple jurisdictions. The selected candidate will play a key part in ensuring timely payroll processing for a large employee population while maintaining compliance with established policies and payroll regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Process complete payroll cycles for a workforce of more than 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and on-time completion.
• Administer payroll activities across multiple states while applying applicable wage, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including earnings, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings.
• Use ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll transactions, review data, and resolve processing issues.
• Audit payroll inputs and outputs to identify discrepancies and correct errors before final submission.
• Respond to payroll-related questions from employees and internal stakeholders in a thorough and timely manner.
• Prepare payroll reports and support documentation needed for reconciliation, recordkeeping, and management review. Requirements
• Hands-on experience managing full-cycle payroll from data review through final processing.
• Proven ability to handle multi-state payroll in a compliant and detail-oriented manner.
• Prior experience using ADP Workforce Now in a payroll environment.
• Background processing payroll for large employee groups, including populations exceeding 500 employees.
• Strong understanding of payroll practices, tax withholdings, and related compliance standards.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to meet strict processing deadlines.
