Partners Federal Credit Union Summary:

We're recruiting for Partners Federal Credit Union, a mission-driven credit union focused on strengthening the financial well-being of its members. We're looking for a relationship-focused banking professional who enjoys sitting down with members, having meaningful financial conversations, uncovering needs, and connecting members with the right solutions. This role operates much like a Personal Banker or Relationship Banker. It's more than processing transactions. You'll build relationships, identify opportunities, cross-sell products and services, generate successful referrals, and help members achieve their financial goals.

What You'll Do:

Meet one-on-one with members to understand their financial needs, goals, and life changes. Use discovery questions and consultative conversations to identify opportunities and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Build and deepen member relationships through cross-selling, referrals, outbound calls, and proactive follow-up. Generate referrals and follow through to help turn opportunities into successful business. Open and service memberships and accounts, including checking, savings, money market, certificates, and other products. Process consumer loans and identify lending opportunities. Process routine financial transactions while looking for opportunities to move from a transactional interaction to a deeper member relationship. Educate members on products, services, and responsible financial practices. Maintain compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. Support branch operations and serve as a resource and mentor to other team members.

What We're Looking For:

The right candidate has demonstrated success in relationship banking, not just transaction processing. We're especially interested in candidates who have experience: Sitting down with customers or members and conducting needs-based financial conversations . Asking questions to uncover financial needs and recommending solutions. Cross-selling financial products and services based on customer needs. Generating successful referrals and following up on opportunities. Building and maintaining customer/member relationships. Making outbound calls and proactively developing business. Meeting sales, referral, or relationship-development goals. Previous experience as a Personal Banker, Relationship Banker, Universal Banker, Financial Services Representative, or similar financial services professional is highly relevant.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or

GED. 3-5

years of relevant experience. At least 2 years of financial services or credit union experience. At least 2 years of teller cash-handling experience. Demonstrated sales and relationship-building experience. California Notary certification - Required. NMLS certification - Required. Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Spanish is preferred. Experience with Episys, Springboard, or Verafin is a plus.

Schedule:

This position requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, based on branch operating hours.

Compensation & Benefits:

The hiring range for this position in California is $24.00-$33.98 per hour, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic region, and internal equity. The role may also be eligible for additional compensation, including bonus or long-term incentive opportunities.
