We are seeking a Personal Banker who enjoys helping customers feel confident with their everyday banking needs, from opening accounts and completing transactions to answering questions, supporting digital banking, and identifying products and services that fit each customer's goals. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to learn multiple areas of retail banking, build lasting customer relationships, work closely with supportive leaders, and contribute to a team that values service, accountability, and community impact. What You'll Do As a Personal Banker, you will: Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, cashier's checks, check cashing transactions, and other routine teller transactions accurately. Balance and reconcile cash drawers, maintain appropriate cash levels, and follow security, dual control, and cash-handling procedures. Open and maintain consumer and business deposit accounts while collecting required documentation and following customer identification requirements. Build trusted customer relationships by listening for financial needs, recommending appropriate banking products and services, and helping customers feel supported in their everyday banking decisions. Support digital banking adoption and assist customers with routine service needs. Identify consumer lending opportunities and provide qualified referrals to lending personnel. Review, verify, and process outgoing wire transfers and safe deposit box activities according to Bank procedures. Maintain awareness of suspicious activity, fraud, elder financial exploitation, money laundering indicators, and other financial crimes. Support branch operations, recordkeeping, customer documentation, ATM servicing activities, and other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. One to three years of banking, teller, new accounts, cash handling, or customer service experience preferred; candidates with strong service skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills. Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Knowledge of banking products, operational procedures, fraud prevention practices, and regulatory requirements preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information appropriately.
