As part of this growth, they are expanding their teams across both their branch network and contact center, creating multiple opportunities for new hires. Position Overview Our client is seeking Universal Bankers to provide exceptional service and financial guidance to members. This role supports members with account openings, financial products, account maintenance, and general service needs. There are opportunities available within both branch locations and the Contact Center, depending on business needs and candidate experience. Work Locations Foggy Bottom Branch (Washington, DC) Downtown Silver Spring Branch Arlington, VA Key Responsibilities Assist members with opening a variety of products and services, including checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates, and other financial products Educate members on available services such as debit cards, online banking, ACH transfers, and wires Support account maintenance needs, including account closures, transfers, rollovers, and certificate servicing Assist with credit card and loan applications Process wires, assist with fraud-related inquiries, provide notary services, and support additional member requests Provide backup teller support as needed Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that support members' financial goals Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, including BSA, Patriot Act, and OFAC requirements Qualifications 2-5 years of customer service experience; banking or credit union experience preferred but not required Experience in hospitality, retail, restaurants, or other customer-focused environments will be considered Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred What We're Looking For A member-focused professional who enjoys building relationships and helping others Someone who can handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A team player who is adaptable and excited to grow with an evolving organization Why Consider This Opportunity?
