Full-Time Personal Banker Location:
Hobart, WI (Opening March 2027)
Training Location:
Oconto and other SNBT locations as needed As a Personal Banker , you will deliver exceptional customer service while building relationships and identifying financial solutions that help customers achieve their goals. You will assist with everyday banking needs, promote bank products and services, and partner across business lines to create seamless customer experience. To prepare for the opening of our Hobart location in March 2027, the selected candidate will train in our Oconto office and other SNBT locations as needed over the next several months. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience while helping establish and grow customer relationships in the Hobart market. What You'll Do:
Sales and Growth Deliver an exceptional banking experience by serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact throughout the customer relationship lifecycle. Conduct meaningful, needs-based conversations, actively listen to identify opportunities, and recommend tailored financial solutions that support customer goals. Proactively service existing customers by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and following through on all requests. Promote, cross-sell, and refer bank products and services to meet customer needs, expand relationships, and drive business growth. Achieve individual sales goals while implementing strategies to grow the customer base, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase long-term retention. Customer Service Excellence and Relationship Deve Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, professionally, and effectively to ensure a positive banking experience. Recommend and educate customers on products and services that align with their financial goals and needs. Open new accounts and make referrals of the right products and services based on customers' goals. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address additional needs, and build long-term loyalty. Actively support and contribute to the bank's customer service, relationship-building, and sales initiatives. Deposit Accounts Open and maintain a variety of deposit accounts, including personal, business, savings, CDs, and IRAs, while ensuring an accurate and efficient account opening process. Assist customers through multiple service channels, including in-person, virtual, email, telephone, online, and night/day drop account opening methods. Partner with internal departments to manage complex account relationships and provide a seamless experience for high-net-worth and business customers. Complete thorough customer onboarding, maintain accurate records, document activities and respond to customer and employee inquiries. Review customer portfolios to identify opportunities, recommend appropriate products and services, and connect customers with specialized bank partners to build comprehensive financial relationships. Transaction Processing Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, while adhering to bank policies and procedures. Promote and educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options to enhance their banking experience. Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, security standards, and internal policies.

Retail Deposit Operations and Compliance:
Maintain a thorough understanding of bank policies, compliance requirements, industry regulations, new account documentation, and Personal Banker procedures. Demonstrate expertise in account agreements, product disclosures, and service terms and conditions to ensure accurate guidance and compliance. Clearly explain banking products, services, and account requirements to customers in a way that builds trust and confidence. Stay current on the Bank's products, services, and regulatory changes to provide knowledgeable and effective customer support. Educate and assist customers with enrolling in and utilizing online and digital banking services to enhance their banking experience. Strategic Goals and Culture Support the bank's culture by consistently demonstrating core values and professionalism in all interactions. Collaborate with the Branch Manager and branch team to support growth and operational excellence. Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing customer needs effectively. Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment that encourages communication, respect, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent. Post high school technical training or continuing education is desired. Excellent communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills using tact and professionalism. Applies sales and service management techniques to achieve bank goals and objectives.
