Full Job Description Position:
Service Advisor Firm:
Vosberg Wealth Management Location:
Glendora, CA About Us:
Vosberg Wealth Management is a retirement-focused financial planning practice based in Glendora, CA. We specialize in helping individuals over 50 navigate retirement with confidence — covering everything from retirement income planning and Social Security to tax planning, Medicare, and investment management. As a fiduciary, we are committed to providing independent, personalized advice in the best interest of every client we serve. We take a structured, step-by-step approach to financial planning and pride ourselves on building lasting relationships with the people we work with.
Overview:
We are looking for an attentive, client-focused Service Advisor to manage and deepen relationships with our existing client base. This is a dedicated relationship-management role — you will not be responsible for business development or new client acquisition. Instead, you will be the ongoing, trusted point of contact for an assigned book of clients, running review meetings, monitoring their plans, and ensuring they continue to receive the high level of service they expect from our firm as we grow.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of existing clients
  • Independently run client review meetings (annual reviews, plan updates, life-event check-ins)
  • Monitor and adjust retirement income plans, withdrawal strategies, and investment allocations as needed
  • Provide ongoing recommendations across retirement income, Social Security, tax, Medicare, and investment strategies
  • Identify planning opportunities during the year (e.g., RMDs, Roth conversions, beneficiary updates) and proactively reach out to clients
  • Manage account paperwork and coordinate with custodians
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in CRM
  • Collaborate with the planning and client service team to prepare for meetings and follow up on action items
  • Stay current on financial planning strategies and tax law changes affecting retirees This role is focused entirely on servicing and retaining existing relationships — it does not include prospecting, sales, or new business development responsibilities.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Active Series 65 or Series 66 license required
  • Life Insurance license required
  • 2+ years of experience in a financial planning or advisory role
  • CFP coursework, CFP candidacy, or CFP designation a plus
  • Solid understanding of retirement planning concepts — income planning, Roth conversions, RMDs, Social Security, and Medicare
  • Familiarity with financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital or similar)
  • Knowledge of tax planning software a plus
  • CRM experience
  • Experience managing client relationships and communication
  • Experience with account paperwork and workflows
  • Strong communicator — confident and reassuring in client-facing situations
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
  • Service-minded — motivated by client retention and satisfaction rather than sales or business development
What You'll Get:
Pay & Perks:
  • Base salary: $60,000
  • $95,000 depending on experience
  • Performance bonus potential
  • 401(k) with match
  • Benefits package (health, dental)
