Position Overview - Green Wealth Management is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor to serve as a financial advisor for an independent, planning-led wealth management practice. This role provides a proven platform for the FA to grow their client base, but also the opportunity to service an existing book of business at the firm ; providing client stewardship, supporting strategic growth, deepening referral and center-of-influence relationships, and helping elevate the client experience across high-net-worth families, business owners, executives, and multi-generational relationships. Depending on the candidate's background, this position may flex between a true partner-level advisor profile and a senior relationship management profile. The ideal candidate will bring credibility with sophisticated clients, strong planning and communication judgment, and the ability to either originate and grow business directly or meaningfully retain, expand, and strengthen existing client and professional partner relationships. This position is well suited for an experienced advisor who values collaboration, objective advice, customized planning, and a client-first approach rooted in dependability, follow-through, and regular communication. Your Role & Responsibilities You will provide senior advisory leadership, strengthen client and professional partner relationships, support practice growth, and enhance the delivery of comprehensive wealth management advice, including but not limited to: Advisory Leadership & Team Collaboration
Contribute to practice-level priorities across advisory standards, client experience, planning process, service model execution, and long-term business planning
Partner with firm leadership and advisory colleagues to support strategic initiatives, client segmentation, role clarity, relationship coverage, and thoughtful practice management decisions
Establish clear expectations for fiduciary conduct, planning philosophy, communication standards, relationship management, and accountability across the advisory team
Collaborate with advisors, planners, insurance specialists, client service professionals, and operations team members to prepare for client meetings, clarify planning priorities, and ensure high-quality follow-through
Evaluate business performance, staffing needs, workflow challenges, advisor capacity, and service delivery improvements to support continued practice success
Model the professionalism, ownership mindset, relationship judgment, and client-first presence expected of a senior advisor and trusted relationship leader Senior Client Stewardship & Relationship Management
Serve as a senior relationship leader for select high-net-worth client households, successful families, business owners, executives, and other complex client relationships
Lead sophisticated advisory conversations involving retirement income, investment strategy, tax awareness, estate planning, charitable giving, business succession, executive compensation, risk management, and legacy planning
Coordinate with clients' trusted advisors, including attorneys, accountants, and other professional partners, to help ensure planning recommendations are aligned, actionable, and well communicated
Lead relationship strategy for significant client households, including retention planning, expanded engagement, next-generation involvement, ongoing communication, and proactive service touchpoints
Advise on sensitive client situations, major transitions, advanced planning decisions, and relationship matters requiring senior judgment and discretion
Ensure the client experience reflects the firm's service standards, planning philosophy, fiduciary mindset, and commitment to thoughtful long-term advice Business Development, Centers of Influence, & Practice Growth
Support business development strategy through referral relationships, prospect engagement, center-of-influence partnerships, community presence, professional networks, and growth initiatives
Lead high-value prospect conversations, proposal discussions, client introductions, referral meetings, and opportunities involving complex planning or significant assets
Cultivate relationships with attorneys, CPAs, business leaders, corporate executives, family offices, professional partners, and other centers of influence
Identify opportunities to expand firm relationships through new assets, additional services, broader household engagement, enterprise relationships, or multi-generational client needs
Maintain accountability for relationship growth, referral activity, client retention, pipeline follow-through, and expanded engagement in partnership with firm leadership
Strengthen the firm's market position by representing its wealth management approach with credibility, professionalism, and a clear value proposition
Requirements What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications
5-7+ years of experience in wealth management. More specifically with experience in financial planning, investment advisory, private wealth, relationship management, RIA advisory capacity
Proven ability to build trust with sophisticated clients, lead relationship strategy, communicate complex planning concepts clearly, and reinforce a high-touch client experience
Background advising clients with an average net worth of $1M+
Strong technical knowledge of sophisticated wealth management concepts, including retirement income planning, investment strategy, tax awareness, estate planning, charitable giving, business succession, executive compensation, risk management, and legacy planning
Demonstrated ability to support business development, cultivate referral relationships, develop centers of influence, lead prospect conversations, retain key client relationships, and contribute to revenue growth
Ability to work collaboratively with advisors, planners, insurance specialists, operations professionals, and client service team members while reinforcing planning standards, communication expectations, and relationship management discipline
Polished leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, relationship management, and technology skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, CRM updates, digital files, and general office technology
SIE, Series 65, Series 66, Series 7 FINRA registrations, or other applicable securities licenses Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, relevant coursework, or equivalent professional background in financial planning, finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, tax, estate planning, or a related field
CFP professional, active CFP certification path, completion of CFP Board education requirements, or comparable advanced planning credential
Experience leading an advisory team, practice segment, client service model, growth initiative, succession effort, or other strategic business priority within a wealth management firm
Established network of referral sources, professional partners, centers of influence, business leaders, family office contacts, or community relationships that support practice growth Why Join Green Wealth Management Group?
Competitive compensation:
$150,000-$240,000 anticipated total compensation, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibility, plus additional incentive compensation for a senior wealth advisor tied to new clients, new business, and/or AUM brought to the firm.
Candidates with an established network, demonstrated business development success, or the ability to drive meaningful asset growth may be eligible for additional compensation opportunities. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, business development capabilities, and overall scope of the role.
