Job Description

Pirate's Cove Homeowners' Association is seeking a dependable and professional individual for a Full Time Roving Patrol position. The Roving Patrol position is responsible for monitoring Association property, assisting with enforcement of community rules, identifying maintenance or property concerns, and documenting incidents and violations. The position requires someone who is observant, comfortable working independently, able to interact professionally with homeowners, guests, contractors, and visitors, and capable of preparing clear and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols throughout the community. Monitor and assist with enforcement of parking regulations, traffic rules, community policies, and other Association requirements. Patrol residential communities and common areas to identify property concerns, damage, maintenance needs, safety issues, or possible rule violations. Conduct regular patrols of docks and waterfront areas and report damaged facilities, unauthorized activity, compliance concerns, or other issues requiring attention. Inspect Association buildings and amenities, including the fitness center and other common facilities, for damage, cleanliness, inventory, equipment concerns, and general condition. Check the Association boat yard for compliance issues, property concerns, unauthorized storage, damage, or other conditions requiring follow up. Document violations and incidents using photographs, mobile devices, computers, Association software, and written reports. Prepare clear, factual written statements regarding incidents, observations, violations, or other situations when necessary. Maintain accurate patrol records and communicate significant findings to Property Management. Assist homeowners, guests, and visitors with general questions and provide information regarding Association rules and procedures when appropriate. Assist with community events, including traffic control, parking coordination, setup, monitoring, and other operational needs. Observe contractors, vendors, and activity on Association property and report unusual conditions or potential compliance concerns. Monitor common areas for unauthorized vehicles, improper parking, abandoned property, damaged signage, lighting issues, or other conditions requiring attention. Coordinate with Property Management, Maintenance, Landscaping, Front Gate staff, and other Association personnel as needed. Respond to requests from management to investigate, photograph, document, or verify conditions throughout the property. Perform additional community patrol, inspection, documentation, and operational duties as assigned. Applicants should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and walking or driving throughout a large residential and marina community. Basic computer and smartphone proficiency is required, including the ability to take and organize photographs, enter information into computer systems, send emails, and prepare written reports. Weekend availability may be required. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good judgment, professional communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and courteous when addressing violations or difficult situations. The position requires reliability, consistency, and the ability to document situations objectively and accurately. Previous customer service, military, law enforcement, public service, property management, or similar experience may be helpful but is not required.

From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
