Denton, TX Job Details Part-time | Contract $50 - $75 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Research Real estate appraisal Full Job Description We are a North Texas real estate investment and litigation company seeking a Part-Time Texas Real Estate Appraiser to assist with property tax valuation disputes throughout Texas. This position is ideal for a semi-retired appraiser, independent appraiser, or someone looking for flexible, part-time work. We are seeking someone with strong analytical skills who can review appraisal district valuations, perform market analysis, identify comparable sales, and assist with real estate valuation issues. Courtroom testimony may be requested in some cases but is not required for every assignment. Responsibilities Review appraisal district values and supporting evidence. Research and analyze comparable sales and market data. Prepare written valuation analyses and appraisal reviews. Assist with property tax appeals and litigation support. Work with attorneys, paralegals, and property owners. Provide expert opinions when appropriate. Testify in deposition or court if needed (additional compensation available). Qualifications Texas Certified Residential or Certified General Appraiser license preferred. Experience with residential, commercial, land, or agricultural properties. Knowledge of USPAP standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with property tax appeals or litigation is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Compensation Starting at $50.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation available for expert witness testimony, depositions, and trial appearances. Flexible schedule with ongoing part-time work available.
