Assists the Senior Field Lister in accurately listing and valuing all structures within Sublette County for property tax assessment purposes. Performs field inspections, data entry, customer service, and clerical support to maintain accurate property records and assist with the daily operations of the Assessor's Office.
Experience Required:
Required Education and Experience
� High school diploma required.
� Strong attention to detail.
� Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
� Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skills and abilities may be considered. Preferred Qualifications
� College degree.
� Understanding of legal descriptions and the ability to read maps.
� GIS experience. Required Licenses or Certifications
� Must possess a valid driver's license.
� Candidates selected for further consideration will be required to complete a pre-employment exam.
� Must complete IAAO Course 101 within one year of hire and maintain annual Property Tax Appraiser Certification through the Wyoming Department of Revenue.
Essential Responsibilities:
� Assist with inspection of new structures for taxation purposes.
� Collect field data and enter information into the CAMA system.
� Assist with six-year statutory property inspections and update property records.
� Maintain records of mobile homes and mobile home parks, including annual tag issuance.
� Assist property owners, realtors, appraisers, title companies, and the public by providing ownership, valuation, and property information.
� Prepare and process office correspondence.
� Assist with the annual assessment schedule process.
� File and maintain property cards and folders.
� Assist with processing warranty deeds.
� Cross-train and perform other Assessor's Office duties as assigned.

� Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
� Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and in writing.
� Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and the public.
� Ability to exercise tact and professionalism when interacting with property owners.
� Ability to organize and maintain accurate records.
� Ability to work independently in both office and field environments.
� Ability to perform field inspections in varying weather conditions.
� Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
� Agility to measure property and perform light physical activities associated with field inspections.

$4,089.36�$4,338.40 per month, depending on education and experience.
