Location West Dade Full/Part Time Full-Time Exempt from Classified Service No Minimum Rate 41748.62 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 70775.03 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Three years of customer service experience are required. A thorough working knowledge of elevator codes, Florida Building Code Chapter 30, Chapter 399 of the Florida Statues and Chapter 61C-5 of the Florida Administrative Code is preferred. Recruitment Notes The Elevator Processing Specialist provides specialized administrative, financial, regulatory, and customer service support for the County's elevator permitting and inspection program. The position is responsible for processing Certificates of Operation and associated fees; supporting billing and collection activities, including invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and revenue tracking; and conducting quality-control reviews of inspection reports, permit applications, accident reports, and supporting documentation. The Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for elevator contractors, property owners, residents, project managers, and other internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial, regulatory, and operational records; responding to inquiries by telephone, email, and in person; resolving account and documentation issues; and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
