Job Overview We are seeking an Operations Trader to join our Boca Raton, FL office. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of trading and operations: you will execute and route equity, option, and fixed income orders while also owning the operational workflow that keeps our trading desk running smoothly — trade entry and allocation, break resolution, settlement follow-up, and coordination with our clearing firms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced market environment, and communicates effectively with brokers, clients, and clearing counterparties. Responsibilities Execute and route customer and firm orders across equities, options, and fixed income, ensuring timely, accurate execution and adherence to best execution obligations Enter, allocate, and reconcile trades daily; identify and resolve trade breaks, DK'd trades, and settlement issues with clearing firms and counterparties Liaise with Pershing LLC and RBC Correspondent Services on trade processing, corrections, cancels/rebills, and account-related operational matters Monitor open orders, executions, and position reports throughout the trading day; escalate discrepancies promptly Support registered representatives and institutional clients with order status, execution reports, and operational inquiries Process corporate actions, transfers (ACATs), and other back-office items as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with FINRA, SEC, and firm requirements Assist compliance and management with trade reporting (e.g., TRACE, OATS/CAT) and periodic audits or regulatory requests Identify opportunities to improve desk workflows, controls, and efficiency Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience 3+ years of experience in trading, trade support, or brokerage operations at a broker-dealer or clearing firm FINRA Series 7 Working knowledge of equity and option order handling, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure Proficiency with order management systems and Microsoft Excel Preferred Series 57, 24, or additional registrations Experience with Pershing (NetX360) and/or RBC Correspondent Services platforms Experience at an introducing broker-dealer What We Offer Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus discretionary bonus Health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan Paid time off and holidays A collegial, entrepreneurial environment at a firm where your contributions are visible and valued
