A Series 4 - Registered Options Principal license is preferred but not required. Founded in 2004, Cobra Trading emphasizes high-touch customer service, advanced trading technology, and competitive pricing, particularly for active and high-volume traders. The firm operates through CobraTrading.com, BigTrades.com, and VenomTrading.com. Description of Position Do you have a passion for trading, financial markets, and working with a team dedicated to delivering a high level of customer service? Our Series 7 Registered Broker position is a core part of our business at Cobra Trading. This client-facing position is critical to maintaining the level of service our active trading customers have come to expect. The role requires the ability to quickly respond to customer requests, provide trade and platform support, assist with account-related matters, and help monitor trading activity and risk. This position will support both Cobra Trading's existing active-trader client base and the continued expansion of our options business. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of both U.S. equities and listed options and preferably have experience trading options personally or professionally. Previous experience servicing or supporting active options traders is highly desirable. The broker will also help support clients utilizing a new options-focused trading platform being introduced by the firm. This will include developing a strong understanding of the system, assisting clients with platform functionality, troubleshooting trading-related issues, and serving as a knowledgeable resource for options customers. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, have strong problem-solving skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced trading environment, and bring a high level of energy to the team. Although this is not a sales position, enjoying interaction and conversation with active traders is essential to succeeding in the role. Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide trade support to active equity and options traders Assist clients with order entry, order status, executions, and trade-related inquiries Provide software and trading-platform support Support Cobra Trading's existing client base Assist with onboarding and servicing new options-focused clients Become knowledgeable in the firm's new options-focused trading platform and assist clients with its functionality Troubleshoot platform, order-entry, market-data, and trading-related issues Provide knowledgeable support regarding U.S. listed options and common options strategies Assist clients with questions involving options positions, exercises, assignments, and expirations Support account management and day-to-day brokerage operations Assist the firm with real-time monitoring of client accounts and trading risk Communicate with internal departments, clearing firms, trading-platform providers, and other business partners as necessary Respond quickly and accurately to client requests and inquiries Help identify and resolve trade, account, platform, and operational issues Maintain accurate records and follow applicable supervisory and compliance procedures Take on additional roles and responsibilities as the firm's products and client base continue to grow Requirements and Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following: Active Series 7 and Series 63 licenses Previous electronic trading service and support experience Experience working with an online or direct-access broker is preferred Familiarity with Level II and direct-access trading applications Working knowledge of U.S. equities and listed options Experience trading options personally or professionally is strongly preferred Previous experience servicing or supporting options traders is preferred General understanding of common options strategies and terminology Ability to assist clients with trading-platform and order-entry questions Ability to help the firm monitor and manage account risk in real time Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Self-motivated and energetic personality Willingness to learn new trading systems, products, and technologies Willingness to take on new roles and responsibilities Must thoroughly enjoy interacting with active trading customers Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred but not required: Series 4 - Registered Options Principal Personal or professional options trading experience Previous experience supporting active options traders Experience with options trading platforms and multi-leg options order entry Knowledge of options exercises, assignments, and expirations Understanding of options account risk and margin Experience supporting the launch or implementation of a new trading platform Schedule and Work Environment 7:30 AM-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday This is an in-office position at Cobra Trading's Carrollton, Texas office Exact hours may occasionally vary based on business needs U.S. market holidays off Paid time off available Compensation and Benefits Base salary of $80,000-$125,000, based on experience and qualifications Year-end bonus potential Health and dental insurance Supplemental insurance coverage options Paid time off SEP IRA participation after three years of employment All qualified candidates will be considered for employment.
