Jobs › Marlborough, MA › Tax Sr. - Corporate Robert Half Tax Sr. - Corporate Marlborough, MA Apply Description We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented tax specialist to support global income tax forecasting and planning for a complex multinational organization. This role focuses on evaluating worldwide tax outcomes, interpreting changes in tax regulations, and translating business developments into meaningful tax insights. The ideal candidate combines strong technical tax knowledge with financial modeling expertise and can communicate recommendations clearly to both tax and non-tax stakeholders. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate forecasting activities related to the company's global effective tax rate and cash tax outlook for annual plans, long-range planning, and quarterly updates under ASC 740 guidance.
  • Monitor international and domestic tax law developments and incorporate relevant changes into forecasting models to maintain accuracy and completeness.
  • Compare projected tax results against prior forecasts and actual performance, identify the underlying causes of variances, and recommend actions to improve precision.
  • Review model outputs to confirm tax impacts, summarize key findings, and present practical recommendations to business and finance partners.
  • Work closely with tax colleagues to evaluate planning strategies involving legal entity structures, accounting methods, elections, and legislative changes.
  • Partner with Accounting, Treasury, FP& A, and other finance teams to assess how operational changes, investments, acquisitions, restructurings, or divestitures may affect tax positions.
  • Build and enhance scalable models that support scenario analysis, strategic decision-making, and forecasting across a global tax environment.
  • Use automation and visualization tools such as Alteryx and Tableau to streamline processes, improve reporting, and strengthen decision support.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, shorten reporting cycles, and implement more efficient approaches to tax forecasting and analysis. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced tax or accounting certification preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a multinational corporate tax function or public accounting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate income tax principles, including U.S. federal tax matters and international tax considerations such as foreign tax credits and Pillar Two.
  • Working understanding of ASC 740 and
U.S. GAAP
as they relate to income tax accounting and reporting.
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing concepts and the tax implications of global supply chain structures.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities with proven experience handling large data sets and developing financial models.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Experience with reporting, automation, or data visualization tools and interest in applying AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency.
