Previous experience at a CPA or Accounting firm, or as a sole proprietor, is required. Our ideal candidate should be personable and possess strong leadership, management, communication, client services, and organizational skills, as well as have a high level of professionalism.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for various business entities, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and LLCs. Analyze financial statements, trial balances, general ledgers, and supporting documentation to identify tax adjustments and ensure accurate tax reporting. Assist with tax notices, examinations, and other tax authority inquiries as needed. Maintain organized and complete electronic workpapers and documentation in accordance with firm standards. Perform other tax-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements & Expectations:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting preferred Two to three years of accounting and tax experience with a public accounting firm Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills Effectively manage client expectations, communications, and relationships.
