This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional to launch a career in public accounting. As a Tax Associate, you will work alongside experienced CPAs and tax advisors while gaining hands-on experience in tax preparation, compliance, research, and client service. You will build a strong technical foundation and develop the skills needed for long-term career growth. Salary $60,000 annually Responsibilities Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns. Organize, review, and analyze client financial and tax information. Prepare workpapers, supporting schedules, and tax filings. Conduct tax research and assist with implementing solutions for clients. Support tax planning and compliance engagements. Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial and tax data. Communicate with team members and clients regarding information requests and project status. Assist with year-round tax projects, notices, and client support. Stay informed on changes in tax laws and regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required. Recent graduate or 0-2 years of public accounting, tax, or related experience. CPA eligibility or plans to pursue CPA certification preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax concepts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining professional standards.
