Job Description
- SALT Senior (Hybrid) — Horsham, PA
Pay:
$98,000- $122,000 + bonus potential SALT work that's mostly consulting, not just compliance. A respected Philadelphia-area CPA and advisory firm's small, close-knit state and local tax team is hiring a Senior in Horsham who works directly with the practice leader. What you'll do:
- Own several SALT engagements from first data request to final deliverable
- Sales and use tax consulting: taxability reviews, nexus studies, audit defense and VDAs (about half the work)
- State income and franchise tax nexus, apportionment, notices and audits
- Transaction due diligence, technical research and data analysis
- Be a day-to-day client contact and write memos and correspondence with taxing authorities What you bring:
- Bachelor's in accounting, finance or related field
- 3-5 years of tax experience, ideally in public accounting (about 2 years may be considered at Staff level)
- Dedicated SALT experience preferred; strong federal experience with state exposure also considered
- CPA a plus, not required Why join:
