Thank you for considering the following position in your job search! We are currently seeking an experienced Collector for a credit union located in Carson, CA !

Type:

Temp-to-hire (based on performance/attendance)

Pay:

$25-27/hr

Schedule:

Full-time; Monday -

Friday:

8:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

Contact members by phone, email, and mail regarding past-due accounts (11-60 days). Collectect on auto, credit card, and HELOC loans. Collect payments and arrange payment plans in compliance with credit union policies. Provide information to members on repayment options and account status. Perform light skip-tracing to locate members when needed. Document all collection activities accurately and timely in the system. Maintain compliance with federal and state collection laws and regulations. Deliver excellent member service while resolving delinquencies.

Requirements:

1 year of recent collections experience. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. Basic knowledge of consumer loan products a plus.
