Responsibilities and Duties:
Communicate with consumer and business accounts by telephone and approved communication methods for resolution of delinquent accounts. Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate account updates on computer files for each call made or received. Counsel delinquent account holders in finding funds to meet their payment obligations. Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties. Continuing education and training of federal and state laws, client contract changes; The Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and Cyber Security. Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company and client policies and procedures. Maintain knowledge of departmental and company policies and procedures Provide feedback to management concerning areas of improvement. Make recommendations to implement improved processes. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) certificate or equivalent relevant work experience 2 plus years of experience in collections of Tax, Local Government and/or medical debts Basic Microsoft Office computer skills Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Ability to prioritize and organize work Legal Collections experience is a plus Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus Salary Range - Dependent on experience and salary history with opportunities for bonus Benefits Paid Training Competitive hourly compensation Monthly Commission (performance based) Paid holidays Generous vacation time Life, medical, dental, vision, profit sharing after three years Ability to advance with our company, as we desire to promote within 401
