Unbeatable Commonwealth of Pennsylvania employee benefits What You'll Do As an Unemployment Compensation Tax Agent, you'll work directly with employers to review records, conduct audits, investigate issues, and help ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Law.
Your work includes:
Auditing payroll records, accounting documents, and financial records
Reconstructing payroll information when records are incomplete
Identifying reporting errors and preparing account adjustments
Investigating employer liability and registration issues
Reviewing possible worker misclassification and blocked claims
Performing field collection activities and negotiating payment plans when appropriate
Evaluating employer accounts and resolving discrepancies
Explaining findings professionally and helping employers understand compliance requirements Work Schedule & Location Full-time Employment
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, 30-minute lunch
Alternate Work Schedule available This is a home-headquartered position. To work from home, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location within Pennsylvania.
You must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Forest, Lawrence, Mercer, or Venango County.
You must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
Frequent travel throughout your assigned territory is required. Travel expenses are paid. Do You Qualify? You must meet one of the following: A bachelor's degree that includes or is supplemented by 18 college credits in finance and accounting, including at least 6 credits in accounting, or
An equivalent combination of education and experience that includes 18 college credits in finance and accounting, including at least 6 credits in accounting. Applicants within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree will also be considered. Additional Requirement Possession of a valid driver's license that is not under suspension.
