DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position focuses on completing a wide range of accounting and fiscal tasks that support important Mental Health, Intellectual Disabilities, and Early Intervention programs. As a Fiscal Technician, you will perform the following duties:

Budget Support:

Assist with developing, preparing, and monitoring program budgets and financial forecasts\n

Account Maintenance:

Maintain accounting structures, cost allocations, inventory controls, and audit requirements\n

Financial Processing:

Prepare and reconcile deposits, vouchers, billing records, and various program accounting documents\n

Fiscal Reporting:

Compile reports, review accounts, and support agency analysis of financial data\n

Contract Monitoring:

Participate in fiscal monitoring of contracts and assist with tracking fixed assets

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment\nWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.\n

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or\nThree years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or\nOne year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or\nAny equivalent combination of experience and training.
