Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking hands-on, motivated self-starters with proven tax compliance experience and high proficiency in both individual and business income tax to lead tax engagements, including overseeing staff and workflow. Working directly with the firm's partners and clients, providing hands-on consulting, you will perform the following functions:
- Prepare and Review advanced individual, partnership, corporation income tax returns and staff accounting projects;
- Address client's tax questions and issues;
- Correspond with governmental agencies on tax issues;
- Manage and train tax staff on tax compliance and tax planning projects, develop and cultivate professional client relationships;
- The base salary for this role is based on the candidate experience, licensure and certifications.
Job Requirements:
5+ years of accounting and tax experience progressing in scope and responsibility Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment Strong communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, supervisory, client service and technical skills, including Quickbooks and tax software proficiency Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Proficiency in using
Proseries, Quickobooks Online and Desktop License/ Certification:
Associate or Bachelor Degree (4 years) CPA or EA license preferred
