full-time Brescia McCluskey, LLC - Palm Beach Gardens, FL | Full-time, In-Office Brescia McCluskey, LLC is seeking an experienced CPA to join our team as a full-time Tax Manager. This role involves both preparing and reviewing tax returns for individual, corporate, partnership, and trust clients, along with managing client relationships, conducting tax research and planning, and providing guidance to staff. What You'll Do
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary (trust) tax returns
- Review federal and state tax filings for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare complex tax returns and assist with challenging engagements
- Conduct and oversee tax research and planning projects
- Review financial statements, workpapers, and supporting documentation
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and senior accountants
- Assist with workflow management and scheduling during tax season
- Review payroll tax filings and bookkeeping engagements as needed
- Assist clients with IRS and state tax notices, examinations, and correspondence What We're Looking For
- Active CPA license required
- 5+ years of public accounting experience preferred
- Extensive experience with individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation
- Experience reviewing tax returns and supervising staff
- Strong tax research, planning, and consulting skills
- Experience reviewing financial statements and accounting records
- Proficiency with UltraTax CS, Workpapers CS, and QuickBooks
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and client service skills
