SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES QRGA, LLP
is a well-established, independent CPA firm seeking an experienced public accounting professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of public accounting experience and a strong background in both tax and audit/attestation services. This role may be structured as either a Supervisor or Manager position, depending on the ideal candidate's experience and qualifications so seniors, supervisors and managers are welcome to apply. Experience with a blend of audit and attestation, tax preparation (corporate & individual) and business consulting is required. Review/preparation of tax returns with accuracy and technical compliance for entities and individuals (experience with trusts and estates is helpful but not required) Demonstrated experience conducting audit and review engagements and preparing GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures (not-for-profit experience a plus) Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and IRS Tax Code Manage client engagements Serve as engagement lead and business advisor to clients Conduct research for complex issues and consult directly with clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills Ability to prioritize work and adhere to time budgets Strong client management skills Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision Ability to work effectively with staff members and clients fully aligned with the firm's values.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting Experience with QuickBooks, ProSystem FX Engagement, Lacerte Tax Software and Canopy a plus. Self-motivated and able to provide significant contributions to tax department
