Job Description
Are you an experienced public accounting tax professional looking to join a dynamic and supportive midsize CPA firm? Our client is seeking a skilled Tax Manager with a proven track record in both personal and corporate tax services to lead projects, mentor staff, and deliver outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Oversee and execute tax planning strategies for a diverse client portfolio
- Research complex tax issues and provide expert guidance to clients and team members
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and best practices
- Lead client meetings and serve as a trusted tax advisor, communicating technical concepts clearly
- Stay current with evolving tax regulations and contribute to the firm's continued growth
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license required
- 8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, with a mix of personal and corporate tax work
- Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Proven leadership and staff development skills - This role offer partnership track potential!
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with tax software and strong MS Excel skills
