Tax Manager Location:

Pittsburgh, PA Overview A large national accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager for its core tax services team serving the greater Pittsburgh market (north suburbs office) on a hybrid schedule (average 2-3 days/week in office). You will manage clients' tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, recognize planning opportunities and develop less experienced staff. Responsibilities Manage multiple engagements and provide tax planning, consulting and compliance recommendations Prepare and review complex returns for high-net-worth individuals, C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts and not-for-profits Manage team members and review work for accuracy, completeness and budget Work with managers and partners to maintain and grow client relationships Resolve technical tax issues and respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries Introduce additional services based on client needs Mentor and coach tax staff at various levels Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Active CPA license 5+ years of current or recent public accounting tax experience Knowledge of IRS and other tax authority regulations and standards Ability to manage multiple projects and meet challenging deadlines Excellent communication and employee management skills Proficiency with tax software If you are interested in connecting further about this opportunity or other public accounting opportunities, please apply here or email me directly at austin.eppard@gogpac.com or call/text (605) 872-5131.
