That's normal in this role, and nothing builds a sharper tax advisor faster. This North Dallas firm handles tax, audit, accounting and bookkeeping for the same clients. That means you see the whole picture, the planning conversations come naturally, and every year makes your experience wider instead of just bigger. I'm recruiting for an established CPA firm in North Dallas, TX. They're hiring a Tax Manager to look after high net worth individuals and businesses across oil and gas, healthcare and hospitality. What could improve for you A genuinely varied client base across three very different industries A fuller view of each client, because the firm also handles their audit, review, accounting and bookkeeping Planning and advisory conversations alongside the compliance work Close contact with clients, the work and the people making decisions A smaller leadership group, so your judgment and contribution are easy to see Room to grow into broader leadership as trust and relationships build What you'll be doing Managing and reviewing federal and state tax work across a varied portfolio Acting as a key point of contact for clients all year Supporting tax planning and advisory work alongside compliance Managing workflow, deadlines, communication and review quality Coaching newer team members and supporting their development Working closely with firm leadership on complex matters and client priorities Taking increasing ownership of client service and team delivery What the firm is looking for Strong public accounting tax experience at Reviewer, Supervisor or Tax Manager level Confidence leading client relationships across individual and business tax A focus on quality, clear communication and following through Someone who wants more ownership and influence, not just more volume CPA or EA preferred The details $125,000 to $160,000 Based in North Dallas, TX Start with a conversation You don't need to match every point or have an updated resume before getting in touch.
