Job Description
A well-established tax firm is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to provide immediate support as the October 15 tax filing deadline approaches. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who can quickly step in, manage a high volume of returns, and potentially return for the 2027 tax season.
Organize and review client tax documents for completeness and accuracy.
Enter and process tax data efficiently while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Identify missing information, discrepancies, and potential tax issues.
Communicate with clients and internal team members regarding outstanding documentation and questions.
Assist with finalizing returns and meeting strict filing deadlines.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, primarily supporting the October 15 extended filing deadline.Organize and review client tax documents for completeness and accuracy.
Enter and process tax data efficiently while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
