In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations. Responsibilities Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Analyze financial documents to determine tax liabilities and deductions. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Provide clients with guidance on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities. Review financial data for accuracy and completeness before submission. Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and any potential audits. Utilize financial software to streamline the preparation process and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with other team members in public accounting to enhance service delivery. Experience Proven experience in tax preparation is preferred. Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and financial concepts. Familiarity with corporate accounting practices is a plus. Proficient in using financial software for tax preparation and analysis. Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets. Prior experience in sales or client-facing roles can be beneficial for client interactions. Must be an Enrolled agent. Our tax practice is growing.
